In January we are taking the best of our courses and combining them into single days of awesome tech fun!

Wednesday 17th January - Learn how to build a VR experience using 360 Video, 3D modelling and Unity (Ideally Ages 10+ but exceptions are made)
Thursday 18th January - Deep dive into electronics & 3D printing - learn about Design Thinking and collaborate to build a smart device using Little Bits, get to grips with amazing Adafruit wearables and code a circuit playground.
Friday 19th January - Code using our amazing AI Robot, Cozmo. Using Python you will learn to create new programs to get Cozmo to behave exactly as you want him to!

 

Our Instructors

 

Our expert trainers balance impressive technical ability with excellent communication skills. They are computer scientists, engineers, and industrial designers with prior teaching experience. All of our trainers have Working With Children checks, and a passion for inspiring young people to embrace STEM skills.

We aim to help students better understand the technological tools they have at their disposal, and how they can create rather than simply consume. Students are encouraged to adopt an experimental mindset, and think ‘What if?’ without giving into a fear of breaking something. We believe that people with unique interests learn to code for different reasons, and there are many ways to engage kids with tech in a way they find exciting and encouraging.

  • Learn how a basic web page is constructed with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and build their own.

  • Learn more about game design, and create their own elements in Unity.

  • Learn more about robotics with challenge to build a water powered rocket with Arduinos

  • Learn more about electronics with a session of putting together and coding a wearables piece
