Introduction to Data Analytics in Python

Drive your data analysis and programming knowledge forward with Coder Academy’s final data analyst course: Introduction to Data Analytics in Python!

Throughout the course, you will be encouraged to combine your analysis and programming knowledge to conduct your very own analyses to make informed strategic decisions, uncover complex business problems, and come up with concrete solutions using Python. In just 4 weeks, students will have the opportunity to utilise industry approved tools and libraries such as Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn, as well as learn how to use these tools to upload, manipulate, and visualise the data in Python to increase effectiveness and efficiency in decision making.

Duration: Fridays & Saturdays (9am - 5pm) over 4 term weeks. There will be an estimated 6-8 hours of self study per week and the course will be assessed.

Prerequisites: Yes, all students must know the fundamentals of Python programming. If you are new to Python but interested in this course, we recommend enrolling into our Introduction to Programming in Python course taking place in January 2020.

Who is this course for? Those who...

  • Have programmed in Python before
  • Are interested in taking the first step towards a role in the data science and analytics space
  • Want to see how data analysis can be done outside of their licensed-software universe. (After all, Jupyter really is the new Excel...)
