ReactJS is a front-end JavaScript library that makes building applications streamlined and instantaneous, by splitting applications into components with different ‘states’.




Classes will run from weeks 4-10 of the course on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6pm-9pm.




We do not advise doing this course without pre-existing advanced JavaScript skills.




Please come to the workshops with a laptop and notebook/pen. You’ll want to take notes while leaving your laptop completely free for code. Apple, Microsoft or Linux laptops will suffice for this course, however Apple or Linux is preferred.

The instructor will walk you through setting up your development environment on the first days of class. For further ease later in the course, you can use this guide to set up the ReactJS environment.

You may also want to download a sophisticated text editor to make your coding experience a little smoother. Atom or Sublime Text should be sufficient.
